It's not because they launched a game with content missing, oh no! Not at all.

Well, by time 2.1 comes out, most HC guilds and even some casuals will be in near full AF2/Allagans so that 'content' will already be obsolete by the time it sees the light of day....

It's not even AF+1 its (Relic). I think for some people who didn't play FFXI they should go wiki it and look at some things. And if you did play FFXI and you are still calling relic gear AF+1 then you are a noob. A lot of FFXIV is coming from FFXI, FFXIV is almost a FFXI-2.

On another note we have 6-10 weeks until 2.1 that's late Nov to late Dec, So 1800-3000 myth tomes for people to get by the time 2.1 comes around. Depending on how long you have been running AK for myth tomes that's at least a Relic+1 weapon and a piece of gear almost two, If 21 is end of Nov. Oh and that's not counting what drops you can get from CoB.

People aren't getting the bigger picture, that by the time 2.1 comes out anyone could have quite a few pieces of Relic gear. If you can't do AK because of the "Difficulty" then you can run WP its super easy. So people are getting upset that Crystal Tower is going to be a step back and just be a filler for a few pieces, A way to bridge the gap for new jobs you level. No matter what and how you look at it you can only have one main job until you either max out Relic or get allagan then you can gear for a 2nd job.

Well I for one have burnt myself out on this game, Today was the 1st time I logged in since Tuesday and that was to get my Pumpkin heads. I'll just log in on Mon/Tues and Cap myth and keep playing other games. But to totally unsub and not keep up with your weekly myth tomes and come back when 2.1 comes out you will fall behind.

I wish I could white knight as well as you can, but I actually care about the future of the game, same as others. You do not seem to understand that when this game launched they automatically negated half of said content when they took out CT because they felt they needed a stepping stone between DL and Coil. How many people do you think actually enjoy leveling every class to max between content patches? because that's what you're telling people to do if their 40mins runs through coil a week and 4-5 other dungeons aren't cutting it for them.

Why level most of these professions? oh for housing that the vast majority of players won't even get to take part in for 6 months after 2.1? This is not personal housing, this is fc housing where if you're in a remotely active guild you'll be lucky to see anyone past officers messing around with anything housing related. Oh but you can make gil having crafting/gathering profs.....for what? Outside of furniture and the officers club house there's been nothing announced that you can even spend that gil on. With how the tome cap is in place you can't even work on multiple classes at once at endgame, unless you mean to say everyone should be running 500 more wps/aks beyond the 50 they did for their base class.

Think it's pretty safe to assume if 2.1 isn't the future of the game people are looking forward to then they may as well abandon ship now. If it's not well received then do you honestly think people will hold on till 2.2+ just to see if it's received any better? This first patch is the make or break for them and if players find it bad you really think they'd give anything past it a chance? And no CT was taken out because it was more difficult than coil when the game was still in beta, they did not want something harder than coil even though you can clear 1-4 in coil in nothing more than dl bypassing the entirety of CT.

My point is you said the game is a month and a half old. It is 2 months old, not one and a half. Thought it was obvious the point of my post. GET THE POINT?

Yoshida said "Roughly every 2 months" and also that since the team no longer has to work on 1.0 AND 2.0..he said stuff would come out even faster. But hey...I'm not complaining..I have been playing SE's games my whole life. After playing FFXI I know how SE is so I am not holding my breath. If people unsub because they get bored so be it. It is SE losing the money not me, why would I care lol.

In the end, we have no choice it will come out when it comes out. =P
