I can agree. While they're nice, sometimes it forces you to use armor, even if it isn't better stat wise, to get whatever gimmick is thrown in with the bonus. WoW was notorious for this with the 2/4 piece set bonuses that affected spells. It was annoying.Personally I hate set bonuses as I think they over-complicate streamlining gear (example: can't wear a superior piece because of some gimmicky vital set bonus effect on one of my moves). And it further encourages cookie-cutter appearance syndrome. But I admit I could be a minority on this one.

Hmm, nah I like it the way it is.

Well... it is Darklight, gotta expect it to be Dark. Only thing I don't like about it is the tank chest/helm *cringe*. But I'm okay with the colors.
I laughed pretty hard at that. xDBecause everyone is black and white and red all over in Darklight gear and I feel like I'm drowning in Hot Topic when I go to Revenant's Toll.

I would rather be able to /hood (think /visor) than dye, personally.
Everything should be dyable

More gear should be Dyeable or even to reskin it with another gears looks and/or colors. That would be best. All of one type of class wearing the exact same thing is kinda boring IMO. /signed

Signed....
Here's a dye system......that you can't use....*rollseyes*
Canada will rule the world with a green thumb, instead of an iron fist.

Hell ya! I don't understand the reason for dyes in the game when all of the gear that is really worth equipping cannot be customized. I was so excited at launch when I found out I could dye my armor. Then when I started to get dungeon drops & noticed I wasn't allowed to change it, all I could think of is all of the look-a-likes in FFXI & how unexciting it was to look at lol.
+1, being a clone isnt fun
