Lol, are you actually suggesting that the TC should pay for a HM Titan run? Maybe he just wants to do the fight for fun. Should he pay a FC every time he wants to have some fun?

If you need the win and are tired enough of DF groups to make a post about it, buying the win is a reasonable option. If you are playing titan for fun you have a strange sense of what constitutes fun. I don't know how you read my post and somehow got the idea that I was saying you should pay for fun experiences.

There's nothing wrong with dropping some cash on the opportunity to succeed. I mean, you already drop cash on gear, supplies, and an insurmountable amount of time preparing for a run - how is funneling your efforts into hiring a capable crew to give you a hand any different? It's not. More importantly, I'm sure we'll have a kick function eventually, which quite honestly scares the hell out of me. If you think those dickheads that go afk in Titan HM are bad, you have no idea how bad the average MMO gamer is in a dungeon:

Oh I totally get that it could wind up being a slippery slope. That's why I'm hoping either a vote-to-kick option is made available, or simply allowing other to join "trials" in progress. Also to some others who suggested forming a group ahead of time– that is what I try to do most of the time. But there are times where I'd like to farm crafting materials or work on some crafting leives while I'm queing up for DF.
