I like everything here except the idea of Chocobo combat. Pimping your ride with gear is one thing, but implementing chocobo combat is a long way off. No FF game has it, and I doubt ever will unless its the gimmick of the game. I'm all for breeding of different colored and able chocobos, especially being able to add equipment to differentiate my chocobo from the next guy's.

Took me awhile to dig this one out of the dev tracker but yoshida had something to say on Mounted battle
