It was crap in 1.0 and it continues to be crap in 2.0. Shocker.

This game just starded and it is already very expensive with it's few content. What for we are paying- for such "events"?
I think it really comes down to simply this. they are currently in a position where they NEED to get new content out. they have probably a month or so before people really start getting impatient for 2.1 and 2.1 has a LOT of promises and hopes to fulfill. 2 dungeons, Crystal tower. all the housing content - housing related crafting just to name a few.
not saying it wouldn't have been nice to have a bit more to do with the events, but 2.1 is a bit more important right now. now if in a year they just whip these same events out, then we can get the pitchforks.
*gasp* The event made to give level 1 gear that most people hate using isn't an incredibly complex series of tasks?!
YOSHI-P THIS ISN'T THE CHANGE I ASKED FOR!!!!!
I'm glad that the event is, once again, simple enough that you can do it by yourself. People here seem to forget that not everybody has time to play this every day, and the further along the event goes, the less people do it, making it harder to obtain items.
Filthy casuals such as myself will spend extra time and energy doing everything possible in a holiday event. Give me bosses to kill, minions to quest for, fates to hunt, etc and I will do it. We eat this stuff up.
Hardcore players tend not to care as much because they won't be getting stat increase rewards.
At least this is my experience in games ♥
Most of those events had tons of items due to previous years event items that were included. Every Halloween you had a few new items, and the next year there would be those items plus the new ones. So after a few years there were tons of items at some events. Is this what you are referring to?
I mean I seem to recall getting around 6 or so bikinis at the last event. Seemed pretty decent to me.
No one forgets that, but no shocker there. Anyway, you do realize that, what you personally forgot was that despite being almost a month later I could still see the market board flooded with ash for the summer items, which means "the further along the event goes the less people do it" is incorrect because the summer event went onto the point lots forgot about it and you could still get items up until a handful of hours ago.
So clearly, there's plenty of people out there constantly playing this game.
Pretty sure they were referring to how the events were specifically designed even if rehashed items ontop of throwing in new items. Some ended up having mini games, some like 1.0 were riddle solving and some were actually tossing you into dungeons to find certain goal points as a low level character in 'stealth' mode where you can still die - ARR can't do anything like that since there's no open-world areas they could.

some of you would complain about winning the lottery. pathetic.
There are so many things, that SE could do: many different repeatable quests for geting different useful things (potions, teleport scrolls, EXP-boost-scrolls and so on), make special event dungeon, make special secret bosses in curent dungeons, make some kinds of rare special mob- to kill and to get special token and so on. THere are SO MANY VARIANTS. But no- SE just created some fully useless suits and thats it. Sorry, but I can not thank you, SE, for this event. I cant
Think back to a magical game called FFXI (aka the MMO bible around these parts), where events involved having to kill stuff. After a week or so, these mobs became unkillable by yourself. Leave that nonsense out of this game.No one forgets that, but no shocker there.
