OP is so meaningless. I saw the title and was gonna ignore it, but I thought, "Maybe there's something worth reading in there." Not really, but I do want to mention that the reason most of the people who don't want jumping say this is because it's not needed. Not because it would look funny, because that's obviously not a sensible thing to say. If jumping was implemented, they would make it look good. But it's not needed. It does look like they will eventually add jumping (only because people keep whining about it) but it's only going to be there so we can jump for no reason. FFXIV is not a platformer.

Jumping isn't "needed," sorry. A jump/fall "mechanic" would be ok (FFXIII, FF7, etc etc) but bunny hopping (WoW, RoM, PWI, etc) would not be ok. If you say that MMOs NEED jumping, I'll have you take a look at FFXI and Atlantica. Neither has jumping and both are very successful MMOs. There are many others, but I no longer play them, due to time constraints, so I have no right to comment on them nor their success.

just because every standard game have don't mean this one should. Here my issue everyone asking for stuff we really don't need like jumping i can agree that jumping is fun but if it was limit to area that you need it which make it fun. At the end all the wow fan or the fan of the standard game would just quit ffxiv and go back to wow,aion,rift,GW or GW2 or blizzard new mmo. Which then leave only the hard core fan of Final fantasy which then they have to fix the game for the real fan or they would leave. that how i see this issue i don't really care what they do as long as they dont' make this into a wow clone or a FFXI clone.

yyou mean the mythic people that didn't excist that ppl keep usuing as a lame @$$ excuse. I rarely if ever seen a bunny hopper... So your guys need a new excuse as bunny hoppers were not as bad nor is it of your concern on what other ppl do.
