I played 1.0 for 2 years. I can wait a couple months for an update that has actual content. It also helps that I haven't completed all of the current content.

Not everyone is a rabid FF fan either, the only people who kept 1.0 alive were the fans who believed in the promise of a better game. That promise has come, but now there will end up being 4 months from launch till anything worth mentioning will even be added. Contrary to minority belief the majority of player who play this are infact not people who will follow a new mmo to the ends of the earth waiting for the promise of the continuation of that better game. Half of the content that is in this patch was said to have been complete at launch but it needed some fine tuning(4 months of fine tuning does not bode well for subsequent patches). The other half is the large amount of qol changes many mmos have in at launch, while the rest are actually new things however they are not large bits of content like the first half is.

Ummmmmm........it's winter like......next month.......with patch 2.1........

Thanks for telling me you don't know the worldwide northern hemisphere start date for Winter, which infact is December 21st(not next month).

Actually Winter time in Sweden starts 25th-26th of October this year. So I guess it all depends on how you classify it.

It's not that we wait over 3 years now for a game that has actual content that's interesting for more than 4 weeks.

Hell, Final Fantasy XII had more content than this.
