Sea/Sky/Nyzul/ZNM/HNM Can I have It?

The more we rally around this kind of idea, the healthier this game will be in the long run. I would love to see a projection on what kind of content they intend to give us.

Sea/Sky(without farming nms for pops maybe), Nyzul, Znms sure, but HNM no thanks. I hate no life crap like that. Who the hell thinks waiting around for 2-6hours to attempt to claim a monster for a chance at drops for your group is fun? Seriously.

To be fair, no one forces anyone to do HNMs. Competing like that is fun to some.

If it's the best gear then yeah you have to kind of consider it. If there are other options for the best gear I won't mind too much... In FFXI the hnm gear was some of the best for a while though and I really hated hnm "gameplay". It just felt like it brought out the worst in the community and offered no fun gameplay in return.

FFXI is not ffxi anymore, so I do not think go back to ffxi is really a good response. It has changed. We will still have all this new style of gameplay. I think people are just asking for some options. I do not want to go back to hnm is best in slot or nyzul is best in slot, but if it is a side grade or even just vanity gear....well then I would be interested. Always loved nm camping and HNM for the short time i was in a hnmls. All anyone is asking for is options; they are not asking to completely change the way the game is currently played.

Yeah camping against 4-6 other LS's every night and playing who has the better bot for claims was a blast.

Welcome to a 6 week old MMO. Yes it's a re-release, but ARR is essentially a new game. Give it time and let the developers get out the content they wanted to do for so long.
