SE's Stance on Pillars in Dark Devices Area?

The game is designed such that you are clearly not supposed to be immune from all attacks. This is obviously a glitch ("bug") in the way the terrain is designed. And in taking advantage of this, you violate the User Agreement 2.1 "you may not take advantage of game system bugs and exploits during gameplay".

Indeed, and you can bet all the people trying to justify this are ones who abuse this constantly haha. Guess they need to actually learn to play! Hopefully a mod will respond at some point today to let people know SE's view

Oh the irony...isn't that what one SHOULD be doing? I think people are mad that they are terrible and need to resort to stuff like this just to do something as easy as spiritbinding.

People fail to understand human nature and complain when stuff like this happens. Humans tend to find the easiest method to achieve the desired results. This method creates the least amount of work with the most amount of success. It's the same reason why players create "speed runs" and "burn" strats for boss fights.

I still don't understand why people get upset over this stuff. It's not game breaking. It's players being efficient with their time within the confines of the games playable mechanics.

Don't like it? Start a petition to remove jump, because this will never end.

simple fix for this, remove jump ^.^

Most MMOs have the mobs deaggro, reset, or fully regenerate after a certain amount of time passes where they are unable to path within attacking range of you successfully.

Taking out jump would probably be a bit drastic, while it serves no purpose I can see a lot of people being annoyed with that. I think the solution Jahadant proposed is a much better way to go about issues like this

Clearly humans, most of them don't care unless it's something that hits them directly.
