I'd like to hear an official statement from the Dev team about this, cuz i sure like to see this happening.
It was one of the things that kept me playing FFXI for several years.
(that included crafting housing furnitures etc)
I used to be Noomy...then i took shiva's Hail Storm to my knee...
Player
(This is an old post for another site i visit often, it just seemed like a good place to revisit it. It may not be something that is on the list of things to do...but i do hope it comes soon, this post below is the best way i describe it)
Home is where the heart it is!!!
Ok i have been playing FFXIV since open beta. Even with all the bugs and other issues i dont care to put in this thread. I am still enjoying this game. I played FFXI for 6 years off and on. Made some great friends, even sucked some of my RL friends into my world(incert evil laugh here). But i was up the other night after a day off, playing about 6 hours of FFXIV. And i was thinking about FFXI and how when i logged off i wanted to log right back in again. So i started thinking of all the things that keep me interested in 11. Many things came to mind of course. But one made me tingle with a joy.
I remeber when i started really understanding 11 and how it worked. And meeting new people from parties and quest. I remeber the first time, after lvl 10 or so, you have to move on from your home(mine happens to be windy) and go on to the DUNES....lol. Well from there you go on many new adventures, to quifim, maybe then to kazahm, that is where i ended up. I was away from windy for weeks(RL). After getting my chocobo quest done i decided it was time to head back to windy. As i szone in from tarongi....(sorry for the spelling)to east sub..lol not even ganna try. I hear the music and a little joy comes over me. Like im home after a very long trip. I remebering zoning in the windy woods and right to my mog house.....here is where my point lyes. If there one thing that miss that i would love to see in FFXIV is player housing. A place to call home, a place for furniture(pointless but still awsome) a place to unload all your junk from you hard days of questing and killin It gave me a feeling of home within a home. A place just for me. I started in gardina, for the meer fact its close relation to windy. But when i go off to othere cities and lands it doesnt feel like im away from anything. I come back to just the city. A city where people get leaves, or come to craft or sell or just sit. But its like that for every city. I can go to LL and do the same thing.
This is the one thing for me that would pull me in to this beautifull world more. If it would feel more as a home. A world to get lost in and then find where your heart lies.....in your home
(sorry for the leagth but i just couldnt just say: I want player housing" lol)
Hope some of you feel the same. See you in game!! :P

Well...that should get Evangela stumped. (lol fail troll)
I used to be Noomy...then i took shiva's Hail Storm to my knee...
By saying it's not needed is like saying the game is fine with the bare-minimum to run.
So why isn't this game text based then? Graphics serve no purpose, so why add them?
This game needs more appeal, and frankly I'm all for player housing. Furniture with stats for more storage would give carpenters more to craft, and so on and so forth.
Player housing = fun impliment ... GIMME MORE CONTENT ALREADY GOD THIS GAME IS HORRID!
I want to jump on the table after I have a house and furnitures
So you learned your lesson IRL and figured you wouldn't get hurt in 14?
