There should be an option prior for signing up for the run to avoid team with players who insist on watching every cutscene. Some do it just to troll.

After checking on this concern with the event planner, the team confirmed they're looking into an option to suspend the display of cutscenes for events like taking an airship.
Likewise the development team is also looking into the possibility of this option for dungeon cutscenes.
We don't have a specific date when this will be implemented but we'll update you when more information is available.

If it's not for dungeons then don't even waste time because that's not what everyone is asking for. So Dungeon CS's please.
Not quite how I'd phrase it, but yes, would like to reiterate that this is needed specifically for doing dungeons for the 789th time in a row. At that point, CSes are just an annoyance. Needs an auto-skip for sure.
Umm I have another side to this....can you make it so that until everyone is done watching a cut scene, no one can run ahead? Also can the timer not count towards your dungeon time if someone is in a cut scene? I think this has been brought up thousands of times and I'm surprised that you have not taken this into consideration. It would probably solve half of the grief that happens in late story dungeons for those who are still doing their story vs those doing speed runs. After checking on this concern with the event planner, the team confirmed they're looking into an option to suspend the display of cutscenes for events like taking an airship.

Make it so that if someone is 'NEW' to a run...everyone must watch CS's and make the CS's unskipable. However, in the good nature of 'thank you for helping a brother out', give a nice bonus reward to the party upon completion for a new player. (EXP bonuses are NOT a nice reward in level 50 dungeons...make it gil/tomes etc).
However, if everyone in the party has cleared said content, make it so CS's are auto-skipable.
This should solve 90% of player griefing.
So.. what happens to playres that DO WANT to watch Cutscenes? ]Are you going to FORCE them to skip it?
Just to reiterate: I was in a Praetorium run last night. I counted how long it took me to go from the start of the black loading screen to having control of my character for the cutscene before the first boss. 30 seconds. The cutscene after the fight? When you need to go on the lift that everyone immediately descends despite three or four people stuck in CS? Another 30 seconds. Every cutscene in that dungeon was between 10 and 30 seconds.
I do enjoy the cutscenes and the story. I watched them my first run through, and every once in a while I go with people on a story run of CM and Prae just to experience it again. I think Prae is one of the most fun experiences I've had in a video game. But most of the time, I'm not interested. It's obvious that CM and Prae are meant to be spammed when they had been given the most amount of philosophy tomes up until yesterday (and are tied for first place.) I shouldn't be forced to have a cutscene load that I've already seen multiple times just to cancel it.
My hope is that a developer will read this and it will convince them that having an auto opt-out is a very important quality of life fix for PS3 players.
