Pixel i have to say I agree with both you and PiedPiper. If I have a situation where DDs are just behind me, I just stick to RoH combo with skills off GCD used on CD. But when I have a longer fight and I have a stable, solid enmity lead - I use both the fracture and shield swipe. SS is a great tool to get your TP back, and for example the boss in turn 1 is immune to blind effect, so flashing is not a very good option in my opinion.

BTW my first Titan win - everyone died besides me and one DPS at 1%. We've managed to kill him, but without my fractures & shield swipes I'd probably still be without my relic

Haha ouch. Sounds like a rough kill. Congrats though! . Yeah I mean by all means fracture and swipe, just know outside of some minor dps its not really useful. One thing about tanking is gaining experience and knowing when to do what, especially when it comes to using cooldowns.

Excuse me for being lazy and not looking through the entire forum for this information(if it was posted), but any idea on the DEX to block rate ratio? 2:1 3:1? Wondering how much dex contributes to your block rate

That's not the point I was making. Obviously Halone spam has the greatest Threat/sec ratio of your GCD uses when TP permits. Anyone who passed high school Algebra can attest to that.

However, the point I was making was so minor that it's not even worth continuing with and was probably a waste of a post to begin with. It would have been easier to write, "Shield Swipe sucks."

None of my information was incorrect, though, as you said it was. It is true that because Shield Swipe is a net gain in TP, it will over a course of X seconds result in larger threat where X is a number that would leave you TP starved. It's all moot because this never happens and you can't afford to not be spamming Halone outside of a few instances during Turn 4.

I'll take your advice. "Shield Swipe sucks." Even in a TP starved situation its better to pool your TP for more halone combos rather than to hit that useless skill. Halone combo is 31.05 enmity per TP used whereas Shield Swipe is 10.5 enmity per TP used. Don't put it on your bar. Simple.

The game hates copy/paste. Try typing it out.

BBCode translates quotes into double apostrophes. You can copy and paste, just replace the apostrophes with quotes to resolve your issue.

BTW how has someone worked up an optimal CD rotation based on their's cds + length? Id I'd say had a 3min phase in which I'd need to have a CD (even weak one) up at all times?
