Same issue here, only I can play for about 3 minutes before the lag spikes, and my connection to the router drops. Does not happen with anything but FFXIV. I want to play your damned game SE, but your bullshit hotfixes are stopping me from doing so.I have been having many of these same issues. Lag spikes in dungeons, towns, out in all the different zones. Here in the last week it has not been as bad, but I still suffer from it occasionally.
I am also having a problem with my moden randomly reseting whiling playing. It only does it while playing FFXIV. I can play any other game all day long and the modem is fine. Load up FFXIV and within an hour or two the modem will reset. This happens more often when in a dungeon. I am on AT&T 12mbit DSL.

While my issues tend to not be as extreme as some of what I've read here, most of the time anyway, I've found myself the victim of multiple knockoffs while clearly outside an attack area. This is especially frustrating with things like bombs on titan, where lag causes me to see them all appear at once so I just have to 'guess' which row is which, or when landslide has no delay (the AoE indicator appears at the same time the move goes off) so no time to even hope to run. As a melee DD or off-tank I can eat plumes and even a bomb or landslide if I don't fall off, while not ideal, so I at least am not one shot because they happen without warning.

Let's get this back to the front where it belongs eh. /bump
I have the same problem... 2-10 second lag after playing approx 5 minutes. it makes even crafting a very frustrating experience. i have a T3 internet connection (or better) and dual 680gtx's with 32gb of ram and 30tb of hdd space. i can stream 1080 both ways... when i play aion on korean servers (i'm in michigan, usa) i have lag of 60-100ms... on na servers my latency is never more than 5ms, even on a bad day. i consistently have 800-3200ms playing ffxiv arr on na servers.
This lag is going to make PvP a NIGHTMARE...
It's gotten even worse after todays maintenance. I had several people in LS that had it worse, me included. Tried doing titan and every run someone got booted off with 90K error midfight. Fix it SE!

Mate, today i saw how 100% of people, who was in Revenant's Toll, was just kicked off the server with 90k error. Miracles, miracles...
Or Titan that walked away from our group by the air, like some kind of stone Elvis.![]()

I have been having the same issue as everyone else here, and it has gotten worse after this last patch. Even others who did not have an issue before now are currently experiencing the issue. I also have no problems with any other game, Vent, TS, Steam, YouTube, and so on work just while while the game lags out. I would like the issue to get fixed, it makes it really mad considering I am a WHM, trying to others and myself alive.
I have also experienced the 90k error and then the 5003 error right afterwards today as well, which has never happened before until this last patch. I do hope the issue gets fixed soon.
Absolutely appalling lag today, I had minor issues in the past - some rubber banding and slowness, but today is unplayable. Guess I'm lucky I haven't subbed yet.
THIS LAG IS GARBAGE.
I HAVEN'T LOGGED ON IN A WEEK BECAUSE THE GAME IS NOT EVEN REMOTELY ENTERTAINING WITH THIS CRIPPLING ISSUE.
