And it's out of the realm of possibility for a CT item to either negate the twister or make the actually work as intended?
By all means, I hope we get a dev to comment but I just don't see this happening right now. They are gating the guilds that are on her currently, how is this not obvious by now? Sad truth is we can't do anything about it and square has done it in the past. If anything, we should have expected it. Is it fair or good policy? No. Square will just wait till they feel like "fixing" it.
This is only an assumption, true it is still on the table though - it is beneficial for square to announce something with enough support of it, unless of course they want gossip and lies to run rampart on gaming sites tarnishing the game name.By all means, I hope we get a dev to comment but I just don't see this happening right now. Considering that it's around a 50% chance to survive twisters random death factor, the stars could align and every person could miraculously dodge them the whole fight. Granted, the odds would be a fraction of a percent, but in that case it'd still be possible to win legit. It would also explain why nobody has done it yet. It would also be a complete BS answer.. yet would not make Yoshi a liar.
Yeah, still the same exploit. Still loads of people abusing it.
Despite closing Turn 5 for about a week and telling everyone they'd fix the bug, it's still happening. Completely ridiculous.
They only thing they managed to achieve with the closure was wasting a lot of peoples' time.
There is a bug which causes Turn 5's boss Twintania to stop attacking. This has led to a lot of FCs gaining free kills on the boss for quite a few weeks now. This is a known issue to SE, and even announced in-game that Turn 5 was going to be closed until it was fixed.
A week later, Turn 5 is back up, the hotfix patch installed, and it's still not fixed.

Well to be fair with the twister bug whether they had taken the turn down or not peoples time still would have been wasted. Can try progressing through the fight all they want, in the end everyone will still come to the same brick wall every other group has come to.Yeah, still the same exploit. Not doing Coil yet, but wanted to point out that this is false.
