It's probably doable, but I can't say it won't be more annoying. If you can get past Wave 2 with no issues then it should be fine, there's 2 knights that repel magic so your only means of damage will be tanks, 1 DPS and SMN using Bane to spread DoT from the soldiers.
On the bright side if you manage to get to wave 6 the last Soldier wont be a problem like it usually is.
I have heard of groups running 3 physical, so I don't think it's impossible to run 3 magical, but it does place a greater burden on your DPS players to compensate for the lack of balancing.
We did it with 4 physical DPS, not sure how 3 magical pairs up? but it most likely can be done..
Thats pretty awesome you were able to do it with 4 phys DPS. I assume for 3 magical the roughest spot is wave 2 -> 3 transition because that 2nd Knight will most likely only be between 80-40% when the Dreadnaught spawns. For Wave5 you can meele LB that Knight and then for Wave 6 that last Knight can be taken down by 1 dps / offtank fairly easily (even easier if DoT's get Baned on it from the Soldier)

To clear this up for everyone not yet experiencing this, I think it's about time to really start escalating this harder. It's not 'impossible' but it's nearly impossible thanks to an insta-kill mechanic that is laggy and extremely inconsistent.
The mechanic in particular is called Twister - as far as anyone has been able to find out, you just run out of it. It is an insta-kill period, there is no amount of gear that will make it easier. And you can run out of it. Sometimes. When the server likes you. This IS in the Accepted Bugs forum, so yes, it's extremely likely that there is no other secret to it (link to said thread will be provided below).
A lot of guilds have been quiet on details due to shooting for world first, but at this point, we're all experiencing the same thing, admitting or not.

Gating boss kills behind a bug like this just to prevent people from clearing content too soon is just amazing. I have little doubt they will not even mention this before 2.1 and then it will "magically" fix itself as 200+ people roll over it day one of the patch baring day long maintenance.
