Starting out SCH and need advice

Selene nowhere near useful in general...How come a 0.01sec faster cast + unstable silence more useful than AOE regen + Healing potency increase...
And shadowflare = damage reduction?Seriously?

I'm not sure where you're getting that Selene's hastes (which last a LONG time, btw, you can have 1 right after another in a forever chain) are "useless", or only 0.01 second reduction.

For me at least, it seems like roughly 15-20% faster cast times. It is definitely noticeable.

And the majority of fights (esp when leveling up through dungeons), aren't really healing checks, and that most people do not use Eos's extra healing efficiently, and you have Selene being much more useful imo.

Also she seems to be fairly good at using her silence whenever there is something to be silenced, which is neat, but not really the focus of her kit.

And yes...shadowflare's slow, which seems to be a much higher than 5% proc rate, is useful for damage reduction. Plus its decent damage, and as everyone knows the best way to increase healing output is to have the boss die quicker.

So much fail....It doesnt affect actual casting time,but the Spell Speed/Skill Speed stat of ur character....Which is totally different story...
Also,u cant have it chain forever because they increase different stat and both have 50% up time. u can only benefit from one of them at a time. Also, if u noticed, because Selene dont have skill action, she will only auto active Spell Speed buff. u have to do Skill Speed manually.
