The funny thing is Ifrit still have same lag, SE just given us the option to interrupt him. Cheap trick to fix a known problem!
When fixing one Problem others become visible...
SE indeed have done a lot about latency lately, but then it shows we have a build in 0.3 position check, also the cast lock is still a problem, and many others...
The sum is what is so frustrating because if you are not hit from one problem the other hits you...
From the OP, the third vid is the only thing that is wrong with Titan. For every thing else, learn the pattern.
I made a thread about this, same types of responses there "deerrrrrp you is just terribuullll.. derrrrp yous intanat us bad!!"
It shouldn't be this bad, it's nothing to do with peoples skill.. Yes internet can be a thing but a game developer should surely take this into account when designing some of their toughest content? Not everyone has Fibre Optic 1000000mbps internet.. Me for example I live on the 21st floor of a 40 year old building, the internet is sloooow anyway, add to that the servers being 4,500 miles away and lag is inevitable.. yesterday Titan turned around for a landslide and just stood there just looking blank.. then a couple of seconds later he went turbo mode to the last stomp while the game caught up with what it missed.
Leatrix latency fix seems to have really improved my game and I have learnt to pre-dodge..but its still not acceptable.. I have overcome the latency problems, there are 7 other people in the party who might not have

Number 4 there is actually just "bad playing" as the castbar finishes while he is still inside the plume. Though I agree, the animation should be more coherent with when the actual dmg occurs.
But it is a fact that 200 ms ping + 300 ms position update makes for unnecessary lag and makes the feeling of the game a whole lot less precise.
A higher Mbits connection wont improve your ms speeds in any way
An optical connection only improves your speed from your pc to the isp, from there on its fiber anyway, and the most significant factor is just total distance from you to the server.

I had the same problem.
Fixed by not limiting the client to 30 FPS in the settings.
Sounds strange, i know. But it helped alot!
As long as the client runs with at least 50 FPS, you can dodge stuff easy.
Its not a letency issue. It is a client issue.
.

I've had many titan runs where I see people still in the aoe and it looks like they got hit by it but they didn't get hit o.o

I don't use battle ping. I just tweaked my nic to disable flow control and interupt moderation and installed leatrix latency fix (disables nagles algorithm) and my ping to montreal is under 100ms. I get out of stuff on titan just fine.

Titan has a set pattern you know when he is going to do things learn to preempt his attacks and start running before he uses the move.
