As a 50lv WHM spamming AK using the Party in Progress Method , I love Rage Quiters .
As a 34 Lv Scholar , I love them as well ................SO RAGE OUT AND QUIT , I will be happy to fill your position and work with your party ..........

As a DPS , well ...........party Crashes , gives me more time to level a Gathering Job or craft while waiting .

Key Quality people lack is Patience ........

I won't leave a group so long as that group is trying. BUT when I've run the same dungeon and died at the same place 10 times, sometimes I say to myself "I just don't see this group making it" At that point I think it's time to leave. Maybe it's my fault we fail , but the fact is we keep failing, it's time to find another group. And to those who think once in we are stuck til time runs out; Get over it!! You don't run the game or the dungeon. Do the best YOU can but let other people decide for themselves weather or not it's worth staying.

Yeah sorry to burst your horribly worded bubble rant, but people do not like carrying others.

I avoid using the DF like a plague due to the fact that there is no telling what random poorly geared useless mouth breather that I might get in my party.

My server is rather heavily populated with 50s so I have no issues, but you cannot expect someone who has worked hard to gear themselves, to want to drag others through dungeons that they are only doing for tomes.

You are only attempting to apply a one sided aspect of a tearful discussion in your favor.

It might have been wrong for the leaver to use the DF in the first place, but for him his time is better served AFKing for 15mins and requeing to a hopefully better party.

You cannot look at only your side of the issue.

SE should have had much more harsh Ilvl requirements for AK, garuda, and Titan DF and all useless trolling in those instances would be much reduced.

To be honest, your gear is under the required level for AK, Garuda and Titan. If you happen to see ppl leave your group in those dungeons, it's not their fault.

As for the issue at hand....everyone has already stated all of the key points as to why a longer timer would be unjust.

I personally dislike your quick use of the word 'elitist'. You're like a little kid that just learned it and interjects it into sentences as often as possible without knowing what it means. If I am in a group that repeatedly fails to listen to proper advice or instructions and repeatedly wipes becuase of it, I won't be hanging around. I consider myself to be very patient and always willing to help others learn and progress. I don't, however, plan on dragging your dead body around everywhere because you never learn and never grow. If you are terrible, then why should I subject myself to it??? That doesn't make me elitist, that makes you selfish.

You need a minimum gear to work in a certain dungeon. Even if you are a very skillful player, a full group of ppl wearing a lv 44 weapon and AF1 gear could not beat 2nd boss of AK because you simply don't have the damage output. If you suck at the game then, of course, gear won't help.

Gear is REQUIRED to finish certain boss. Skillful player have some leeway even undergear because these players make zero mistake. For the majority of the player, unless you think you can make zero mistake, you are required to gear yourself. For example, how many people can dodge all Tumult and bombs 100% of the time for 30 mins in the fight? (taking zero damage except unavoidable AOE damage) If you are not one of those people, please gear yourself.
