Bards flavor of month ?

I like drg and scholar to but i still wanna gear up 1 class at time.

That's why I powered a SMN. Bard is fun, but currently too many of them on my server.

You are not a DPS. You are hybrid DPS/Support.

I'm sorry you don't get to do everything.

Sometimes people die because there's no LB available, it's just a drag, it doesn't help.

I've only found myself using LB3 once during an Ifrit fight, never again have anyone needed me to save the day.

But many times, countless times we need dmg LB, and the ones that can use it either can't cause they're dead or running away from aggro, while I stand there with my bow up my ass waiting for a miracle to happen.

Been a Archer since 1.0 beta. Been a Bard since its original patch release.

It might just be the most preferred class because it perhaps seems to be the easiest class to dps on.

I am going to add to this quote as ppl keep on thinking this. Coil separates real Bards from button mashing ones that think they are top DPS or a total DPS job.

We are a Hybrid Job, not a Total DPS job. Equally skilled and geared Melee DPS will beat us. The more ppl come to terms with this, the better for the community. Bard doesn't need a nerf, it's been proven countless times in Endgame.

Funny coincidende, the one time I've *ever* had to use my bard LB3 was during an Ifrit fight. Never again to be seen or used, yet.

That looked pretty boss though, what with the flames and dramatic Ifrit environment. Great animation for a LB, but sadly, one I doubt I'll get to see again anytime soon.
