Pressing silence every 23s is only doesable with godlike Bard, especially when silence cooldown is 30s. /mhuaaa-laugh-at-you-who-dont-even-know-skill-cooldown-before-act-hipster-and-shit-with-sarcasm.

And? You still press WASD, faceroll the keyboard, and do top tier damage. God forbid the BRD has to do something other then strafing around a target and pressing 3 buttons. A few encounters favoring BRDs =/= BRDs harder to play then BLM.

and unlike BRD, BLM dont need to be good so your party wont wipe and blame you?

anyway, for dps cycle, there are 8 button for bard to press, 1 more for CC mode in speed run, 3 more for aoe, and of course managing both mana for song and tp for dps.

If you are a bad BLM your DPS will be crap. At least when the bard is crap DPS, his silence/songs are still useful, but the sole reason you bring a BLM is damage and if he fails at that the group will obviously wipe from a longer battle where more mistakes can happen/people run out of cooldowns.

The PLD can interrupt since you have 2 of them. So can the monk if you have one.

if a BLM dies in turn 4, that just means the BLM is too good or the tanks are bad. ^.~
