    WAR does not do enough damage to keep using that as a means to justify their tanking state. I have both WAR/PLD Relic'd with a mix of Allagan/Myth gear and my PLD is usually putting out more damage than my WAR. Once you have geared DPS with Relic +1 you really can't use Maim/Storm's Eye till late fight since they will snag aggro off you during your zero extra enmity rotation. For AK farming I can run PLD in Sword Oath the whole time, speeding up runs to 22-26m, but WAR I have to use Defiance I have only a bit more HP than my PLD without it and still take some big spike hits during 3 trash pulls. Holmgang does not work on bosses, works on Dullahans in AK which is fun, Stun them, wait till stun is about to wear off and Holmgang while behind them so they can't turn around, can take zero damage during the fight XD

    I'm guessing the point of it is to stop you from moving during Repel. But I haven't tried it.

    Well it binds you no matter what you use it on.. saying it works on demon wall kinda meant it binds the enemy and not just you which is a given..=/
    It does not work on demon wall, but the self bind is useful in that aspect.

    has a warrior i was able to tank all fates without a healer 50 except behemoth, and odin for obvious reasons... im able to heal through most spike dmg from bosses and trash mobs in dungones due to clever use of drain skills, and healing abilities....

    all this QQ about warriors being weak is pure bullshit, i have no complaints about this class, i was a dragoon and i felt the need for faster queues to farm tomes so i levelled a warrior, came has surprise people on forums think they do poorly in end game tanking, but it's not true, warriors feel solid and resilient, they take much more damage than paladins but with their abilities and larger hp pool, you can take the blows and heal back up easily if you know what youre doing...

    i would just change the one ability i think is bad, steel cyclone the one that ignores 30% of defiance damage debuff, i see no purpose on this skill over the other wrath dependant abilities... it really needs a change ... its clearly a case of L2p for most warriors out there if they think warriors are bad.

    on a side note i would take the damage debuff component out of defiance ... it would really help warriors do what their supposed to do, while adding extra dps that will still not be on par with dps classes but become very usefull on making some fights a lot faster, of course that would also make unchained useless so it would also need a change in that particular skill. But by no means i think warriors are bad, just think they could overall be a little bit better in dps has to slightly improve their drains.

    The issue is that WAR requires more effort from healers after a certain break-piont of incoming damage because their mitigation doesn't scale with incoming damage, where as PLD's mitigation does and is clearly visible in content after Garuda (Hard).

The whole issue is that PLD simply takes much less damage, for what reason would somebody take a WAR when they can take a PLD and heal them so much less? It's much more than "clearly a case of L2p". If you don't realize that you need to open you eyes and think for a minute. If there's anything between your ears you'll quickly see why you are wrong.
