I agree with the person on page one who said that if you want to help the community, you should teach them rather than carry them. You know... that old saying about give a man a fish or teach him to fish...

A lot of people who don't know the fight aren't sure where the resources are, probably haven't memorized the ability rotation, and just aren't experienced enough to 'know' what to do when the different bomb formations spawn. You aren't helping the community if you carry people through a fight that is supposed to require skill. It is nice that you are giving it for free (as opposed to charging), but neither you nor the group that is charging is doing the community any good because the people being carried aren't coming out of the fight as better players. Don't get me wrong... I think it's VERY nice that you guys are being helpful... I'm all for that, and I do realize that a lot of people who are GREAT at dodging/tanking/healing just can't find a full group who can also dodge/tank/heal...

One person in my LS is very new to the fight... the rest of us are experts. He kept dying and we offered to carry him but he said, "If I can't stay alive, I don't deserve my relic." Not everyone thinks this way, but I think that is the right attitude to have. YES -- lag happens... but if you plan ahead, you likely won't get hit. There are tools to decrease your ping (route to servers) so that you can at the very least avoid landslide upon sight. To avoid plumes, simply run when you know they are coming and you'll be okay.

Anyway, I am more than happy to help people who need the fight done -- provided they're actually going to try...

We actually explain the fight wile we are doing them and we do answer question to those that want to learn. As of late more and more people are staying alive till the end of the fight. There have not been a single person in the whole fight that was like Eff it carry me wile I AFK or die in the corner, each and everyone of the people we carry try I hope to believe to the best of their abilities. Some even like your LS member show signs of disappointment when they die. Also during the stream the people that watching it on there are learning the fight as they wait in line. Since having to pay attention to the stream is somewhat important to get into the fight as that's where we announce the next up.

Also if they don't want to learn the fight sooner or later they are going to end up buying an overprice run. At least by doing this we are saving their Gils and stopping potential RMTs sales for those that end up using them to afford their run.
