As some of you have noticed, the glowing effect for Holy Shield +1 differs in size depending on your race, and this is actually a bug. We will be fixing this to match the size of the shield.

However, there’s been a lot of feedback that the glowing effect looks really cool, so after we fix the effect bug, we will look into making adjustments to the size of the actual effect for patch 2.1.

Id rather just turn the annoying ass glow off, been pissing me off ever since I got my bow

Back on topic: I posted this in the bug forum a while ago, didn't even realise it was moved in to this section - how strange!

I posted this while playing as a Roe but have since switched to Miqo'te whose shield glow is slightly larger than the shield (nowhere near as relatively large as the Lala shield though) and I really quite like the effect.

Then again, I haven't actually seen a completely working as intended holy shield +1... would like to see an example if anyone has one.

really waste time and efforts of DEV, let them stabilize the game first, so many RMT and BOTS

you really care the shield size when u fight with Titan and do some dash runs?
oh, wait a sec, i remember the chart about what tank need to do when fight with Titan, yah, stay there look at your shield.

Since it appears too big on Lalafells and too small on Roes, I'm assuming that it would look roughly "as intended" on Midlander Hyur.

The team that fixes character's hair and shield visuals does not work on game mechanics, you blundering oaf.

I am highly Disappointed in this decision. Regardless of the nay-Sayers, the effect on the Lalafells is completely fitting, and adds an element to the lalafell PLDs that makes them different in appearance. If the Devs want to fix gear, Allow us to DYE our end game gears, add our company logos, make logo locations a player chosen aspect along with sizing, As of now 95% of all leveled players look exactly the same. DL AF2 AK and Alagan or crafted. Give us some diversity. or in the least leave the little things alone and work on more major ISSUES, like Fate bosses, more content (even content released in the correct progression order, derp derp).

I will miss my shield, this is probably one of the coolest bugs and I highly doubt its game breaking, I did forget one aspect "It's not working as intended" all that is left to say is pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft!

Oh please. Dont change the shield effect on lalafells. I also thought it was a nice compensation for having all other details in miniature size. I was so happy when I first saw my shield glow up after the +1 upgrade as it made my whole role as tank and leader for a group a visible structure.
