    At 6:24 player is hit by landslide and knocked off

    They were out of the red area well before the cast bar finished. They still get hit.

You have, too, because it indeed affects everyone (which, as you stated, is necessary for a game-wide problem to truly be a game-wide problem). What we're asking is that the server and client relationship be optimized to achieve the best level of server-client synchronization possible.     Separately, the other big issue here–which I actually find to be a bigger issue for myself, personally–is how animations work in the game. Not being able to use an ability in an animation and animations not synced with cast bars is terribly annoying. If you want a non-progression example, do some tests summoning your chocobo, and moving immediately after the cast bar completes. What you'll find is that the chocobo being summoned has nothing to do with the cast bar; the chocobo isn't summoned until you complete the "whistle blowing" animation. This just doesn't make any sense. Why even have a cast bar?

    EDIT: Interestingly, bosses seem to work the opposite way: the cast bar determines the ability, and the animation (including any red box) is just for show (often, for a misleading show). So, for a boss, you need to watch cast bars, but for yourself, you need to watch animations. Even if all other things were equal, this alone represents a design flaw.

    1. is this a problem you even intend on fixing? or are you going to leave it in the game. this would allow many of us help decide whether even to stay on or not

    2. this would be the more difficult question, but do you even have some kind of target date that you intend to fix this problem by?

I've upgraded my service and actually tried playing the game in a different location where there's a lot more infrastructure and nothing helped. Switching computers or turning down graphics didn't help either.

    I haven't fought Titan yet, but it goes like this...

    enemy starts casting aoe->red appears on ground->red disappears from ground->enemy casts aoe

    You have to be out of the red area BEFORE it disappears, the red area disappears BEFORE the spell is cast. Figure out the system, work in it, then own it.
