Let's go through the requirements -

You must possess an active service account for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. - I assume this is the case here.
You must be logged out of the game. - Unless you are 3102'd this shouldn't be a problem.
Your character cannot be enlisted in a free company, holding a free company petition, or signed to a free company petition. - Can be addressed.
Your character cannot have items for sale on the market. - Can be addressed.
Your character cannot have items entrusted to the Calamity Salvager NPC. - Can be addressed.
Your character must rehire any retainers carried over from Version 1.0. - Can be addressed.
Your character must be logged out outside of any instanced areas. - Can be addressed.
Your free trial period must be expired. - This is the catch however I assume they mean first free trial period (as in the one immediately following activation of a service account) as I would assume they would consider any additional time added equivalent to utilizing a game time card. You don't know though because I am also assuming you haven't tried to contact them to verify this. Plus, we don't even know when paid services begin so transfers could be free until after the date in which your second "trial" expires, I am assuming would be October 26.
The character you wish to transfer must be at least three days old. - Check.
Your service account cannot be suspended due to a violation of Terms of Service or a hold on the account. - I am assuming you won't be suspended prior to Tuesday unless there is something you are not telling us.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but according to Kamilah's Forum Profile she joined in August 2013. So, if Kamilah started playing when the game was released (or even during the Early Access period), the billing would('ve) start(ed) during the period where the World Transfer service is still free. And if Kamilah wants to have her character from her 2nd copy (which she recently bought) "transfered" to another world (where her friends characters are playing), wouldn't she have created that particular character on the designated server already?

That's what i honestly don't understand from her original post.

The problem is SE has a contractual obligation to afford you free time - I guess there's nothing they can do without breaching that.

Which makes absolutely no sense, but that's what I've heard. Devs feel free to chime in here....

You're not being punished.....

You are simply not getting rewarded/compensated/given a free world transfer due to bad planning on how/when/where you bought & registered your accounts.

What you should do:
I want to play with friends.. let's see, what do I need to do. Okey, I need to do this, this, this, and I musn't do this.. then I can play with friends. Okey!

What you did:
I'm going to do this this and this. Alright, now I want to play with friends. Wait, why can't I go to that server?! ARRGH!!!!!

Please disregard the World Transfer Service requirement that mentions "Your free trial must be expired." Anyone that has purchased the game and registered their code is not on a "free trial" period. For your reference, purchasing the game and adding your 30-days of play time, is considered as actual subscription time, so users would not be affected by this requirement.

For clarity, we will be updating the site to remove that line. Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience that this has caused.
