Only reason XIV's giving 5 free days is because they didn't properly anticipate their player count. They ended up making new servers and locking up old ones for days at a time. A lot of people ended up on different servers than their friends due to this. It's not the fault of SE that you bought both versions and thus extended your free time by an additional 30 days, be glad the first 5 days offered is even free to begin with, when WoW launched their server transfer you had to pay a lot even from day 1, the same with FFXI.

Yes but i know many companies wouldn't even do that if they were in the same situation they would still charge people because it would be A LOT of guaranteed profit in a short space of time.
I am with you brother! This is totally unfair and biased against players who have actually given them MORE money than the average player. Completely unfair and of course what do we get from our peers? Not agreement, but a resounding *** you for giving the company more money than them and being disappointed that you are punished for it. Seriously the community is completely so blindly fanboy that they completely piss on their own peers when they have real a problem is not even directed at the game, just a policy that is unfair.
So basically the tip I get from others on this forum is " **** you for buying the game on more than one platform. I get to transfer even though I have paid in less and you're a tool for giving the company more money. Wait two weeks and give them even more money again. Just be happy that I, not you get to do this for free and that the option is there. Not you though, me!" -- sincerely SE Community
Thank you SE community you're a blessing.
