Titan Hard Mode Lagg

I lag so much during this fight that at times Titan will completely disappear or teleport - ie he already jumped in the air for Geocrush or whatever that aoe attack is. The worst phenomenon I've seen is where Titan will use Landslide in one direction, then the Landslide ground effect will teleport and erupt in a completely different direction. It's hilarious and immensely frustrating at the same time. I noticed I get the worst lag around 5pm and on, you know, when people with responsibilities like me get out of work and it's the only time of day we can play, of course. The weekend is horrible as well.

You have so much lag, you did input a second "g" on the word. That probably makes the fight harder!

But for now, the key to winning the fight is memorizing the order and moving beforehand.

There appears to be one duty finder server we connect to, that must be in JP. Because no matter what your running, primals, or dungeons, there will be a DF you are on where the lag is more intense. Being from NA i gripe when i get on that server, cause i experience that same issue, you appear to be out of the red, but you get hit anyways. Anytime I'm tanking say ifrit, and I notice I'm getting hit when i shouldn't, I can usually adjust, and maybe get out of getting hit 90% of the time, but i have a deep sigh because i know this laggy DF server is going to tackle most new people relentlessly. This really only started the last update where they mentioned something about DF improvements. It seems your randomly placed on a JP DF server occasionally.

I start having lag issues in all instances every day after 7pm GMT+1 (UK time). Before that I have no issues but after it can get so bad I'm unable to play. However, before this "instance lag" as I call it starts happening, I have no problems evading Titans moves as EU player. Because of it, however, we've had to cancel some late night events for our FC and I've decided not to even try doing anything after 8pm UK time.

In short, I don't feel the problem is the server location but the duty finder servers that are under way too much stress. Luckily they're working on doing something to this mid-October.

While not related to internet lag, here's a tip for those who play on PS3.

Check your TV settings. Modern TVs will often have a "Game Mode" setting. With "Game Mode" off, the TV does post processing on images to make them look nicer but effectively adds lag! In some cases, depending on how cheap your TV is, it can be 100+ milliseconds! Turning "Game Mode" on should disable the post processing and eliminate the additional lag.

Post-heart: Buster > Tumult > Weight alternating with Buster > Weight.

Post Heart is actually; Tumult first, then weight of the land. Tumult and Weight are always together after heart. The other combo to look out for is Boulder bombs and Landslide. Titan will always start the boulder bombs and while you are running to the last one to wait he will do a landslide.

An easy way to deal with his tumults x8 is to get hit by them, wait for weight of the land, run out of it when it spawns and then get healers to heal up the pt.

After heart Titan combos his attacks. They are very predictable. Warm up your fingers first OP .

I meant that [ Buster > Tumult > Weight ] alternates with [Buster > Weight] since it might be easier for some people to look out for Buster or even Landslide instead of having to memorize the entire rotation.

"if you see a landslide.. he is about to buster"
