I hate Titan

It is honestly my favorite fight in this game. I understand the frustration of pugging it as the first time I killed it was with trying for days with pug groups. However with a full FC group it's a fun fight mechanically coil 1-4 doesn't compare.

Man i wish i could be one of these people. You know the FC who is good enough and nice enough to finish it for their members and help people learn the fight. I'm stuck failing with patronising jerks like "oh don't you know how easy this is? I do this for fun now lol"

At this point i'd screw pride and just pay gil for somebody to carry me i'm that sick of not being able to do anything but fail at this fight XD.

is it a thing now for people to queue for DF to get into Titan HM and then not participate or just say in the back and practice dodging landslide w/o even engaging? had this happen in 2 groups in a row now

And maybe EM primals will give weapons above ilv90, or they will be required for some quest, or to get in some other dungeon...

What is the point of Relic then? From my understanding Relic is suppose to be the strongest weapon for a class. I hate Titan and will always hate him. I could see it for vanity gear, but I couldn't care less for that kind of gear.

I do not know. I could never get on to a df for Titan.

Well, no offence but this really made me laugh XD
I think in just a few months the Relic will just be good weapon to beat Titan HM, but the game'll be full of other stronger weapons...
If you think about it the Allagan weapon is already stronger than the Relic+1, even if not too much stronger.
This is SE, welcome to Final Fantasy, where you have to destroy another dimension to get your chocobo underwater and get the strongest weapon, just to know that there is an even stronger weapon if you reach the final phase of the game under 12 hours of gameplay; where you spend more than a month to get a sword with 140 ATK, just to know that you can find a spear with 150 ATK in a coffer XD

It will always be the strongest weapon. Whenever new weapons outclass it, it will eventually have a way to upgrade it to +2, +3, or gain a new name entirely. This was/is the plan at launch. The relic weapons are always supposed to reign supreme at the end of the road. So you'll get new weapons, use those weapons for dungeons quests / etc until the new way to unlock a stronger version of the relic appears.

The biggest issue that I can foresee with EX Titan would be the lag! How the hell are they going to fix that when they plan on going even crazier than what Titan HM already does?

I love how these people are like "I have no problems with Titan, it's an amazing fight, so challenging." Clearly these people have good latency, some of them even admit to not experiencing any lag. I have the titan fight memorized, I know when the plumes (WoTL) are coming and I'm moving before it's even cast, and even then I still get hit with them. I'm also on 15/10 DSL, so my net is not the issue.

The really sad thing about this is the fact that as soon as someone gets hit with a plume it's automatically assumed their bad at dodging, when the majority of the time they get hit due to latency. I think the biggest issue I have with titan isn't titan, or the lag, it's the toxic players who assume anyone who dies on titan is a terrible player.

The other problem being the standard settings for the keyboard and camera. I hated when I was in a middle of a cast all of a sudden i see plumes and my camera just changes. Once I mentioned that someone told me about the settings for slide and camera.
