Chimera and Hydra out of duty finder is a bad idea

This by the way was a terrible idea. Having to spend the better part of a weekend to shout and get stuff done was awful. Did it toughen you up? Absolutely but it also turned a lot of players away from the game. Especially when new FoTM came about. I waited as a PLD for days to get parties because everyone wanted a ninja tank because healers liked healing them more. Had nothing to do with my skill level but all to do with the dynamics of the game. Made me quit for a while before coming back to find out PLD is now in demand

This game purposely puts people at max level rather than having to grind for it. So the argument of instant gratification is kinda moot. Game puts everyone there.

And the standard is then set because they breezed up to 50, why should they not be able to breeze through end-game content? And now we get a forum full of over-entitled crybabies who cannot complete content because its either:
1. SE's fault
2. Every other player's fault

I'm not saying that old XI partying was good, but jesus, nowadays someone has to wait 30 mintues for a DF queue and they flip their wig.

These kids wouldn't have lasted a week in the early days of XI. Complaining that 1 or 2 encounters are not in DF... lol. Back in my day we shouted or sat patiently for hours with our LFG flag up or we combed through player searches to find the right level and job just to gain experience(we didn't have level sync either). There was no soloing to level 50 or using a quickmatch feature to find your group for you. Now everyone wants everything handed to them right when they want it. Its sad to see the MMO scene transition from delayed gratification to instant gratification. The age of ritalin is upon us.

I see your point and I understand it. It's true there are a lot more entitled people now. However these forums maybe 200-300 active users posting? The game I think for NA had 300k+ so it's just the toxic ones are the most vocal and that might be more of a generational thing that we've been seeing in the US (don't know about how it is in other countries).

But it's as others say, this game has casual gamers in mind and spending forever and a day to get their relic done is a hassle and incredibly inefficient. I'd rather attempt Hydra and fail so I can get the mechanics down than try to form a party and wipe losing all that time I spent making the party. From what I've heard, titan is harder than Chimera and Hydra, but I've done none of those so far. If that is true, then there's no reason not to have them in the DF along with the other primals.

You can randomly pm any relic guys you see, and they may help you out. As a healer, I give our charity heal quite often for Chimera/Hydra. A few times, I asked my guidies to help too if the group didn't have enough.
