XIV definitely needs more challenging content. All this with other balancing of course. As is though it's a little too easy. Soloing rank 30 leves at rank 19 or so isn't my idea of a balanced game. ~.~

I was attracked to FFXIV because it had options to solo and behest his party oriented but not like FFXI.

FFXI scared you or scarred you? if you're still scared you may need to consider joining a rehab clinic. FFXIV isn't moving away from solo content, if you've read the battle blue prints and that's what you got out of it you need to read it again.

Yea, looks like the casual/solo options will still be there with additional challenging, party-dependent content on top of it. Not party-dependent for EVERYTHING though. Sounds like they picked a good route to satisfy all types of players.
