I like the ambient crowd noise, but I AM sick of that "Haha, Hahahaha, HEYEEE!" Lalafell. His voice sticks out too much, as does the moaning woman ("ha-OH!")—though she's not quite as bad as the Lalafell.

I'd kind of like it if those two were targeted in a precision airstrike by Sound Director Masayoshi Soken.

I haven't read the full thread, but I know everyone's pain with that Lalafell laugh. I use a Pulse Headset so its like I'm standing right where my character is... And yes. Every time I heard that laugh... Hahaha! HAHAHA! HEY!!! I want to cast Aero like a madman and hope I hit him...

I mean, I LOVE the cricket ambiance, though. Just... please murder the laughing Tarutaru.

The background voices are fine except the racial emotes voices that repeat, if it wasn't for them it would seem random and non repeatitive... I won't turn it off since I still think its cooler with it on regardless of the voices, especiall in FATE's with large groups... But I think removing the racial emote voices will be perfect

Not exactly related, but this reminds me how I hate how my yells sound nothing like the voice I chose.

We need an 'attack sound' option when picking voices. You know, sense it's the noise our characters are going to be making most of the time.

Yessssssssssssssss.... My character sounds like some emo dude who barely has the strength to hold a weapon when he attacks... not at all what I expected. Just I'm not going to waste my bottles of Fantasia on a voice change.

Oh wow, this great is GREAT. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one irritated by some of the random crowd noises and the BSM file sound effects. So far, I've only noticed the "HAHAHA HEY" drunk Lalafell and the "UWAA" annoying wanna-be anime guy. I'll have to listen for the others the next time I play.

My BSM is in the 40s and I've managed to tune out the file sound. What bugs me about it is that it reminds me of when I had braces and the orthodontist would have to file down the sides of my teeth a bit so that they would move together properly. She used this thin plastic file that fit between my teeth. You think the in-game filing noise is bad enough? Try hearing it inside your head and feeling the file grate on your teeth. >_<

For example, there are around 100-200 bug noises, including different sounds for monsters and ambient noises, so including all of these would make the setting screen look pretty ridiculous!

I think all this petition is asking for is to make the existing ambience track a little better. Not user settings. Nothing that complicated.

I would as I have the perfect character design and wouldn't use it for anything else, but I have no idea how my new voice would sound until I locked it in leaving me with many unknown choices.
