    This is what jobs will be like

    A lot of you seem to think of the upcoming jobs as the way they are in FFXI. You get you Gladiator to level 30 and then you quest to unlock Paladin.

    I read something different. To me it looks like jobs are Talent trees/specs for the current classes.

    Below is a video of the mage class and it's 8 specializations(jobs) in Rift.

    Now I'm not trying to promote that game but i think this video illustrates well what i think SE is trying to do with Jobs in FFXIV. Granted that conjurer probably won't have 8 jobs to chose from... at least not any time soon but the general idea is well demonstrated.

    Anyone else thinks this is what SE is doing?
