The account suspensions and gil reset leave a black mark on this game.

now that i have carpenter to lvl 50 i understand how they can make so much so fast.

take the champion's lance. a weapon EVERY dragoon needs for there relic reborn quest.

To make it all you need is a few crystals, 1 bloody lance head (3-7k at the moment on my server) and 1 spruce lumber (4k-7k on my sever)

so on the cheap end it costs 7k to make and thats with buying the lumber 14k

on the high end yet you can sell the lancer for 25-30k no prob 40k-50k if you hq it

thats a massive profit of 11k+ which you can use to buy the mats to make 2 lancers rince repeat for a few days and you can make millions

Every post you have made is to troll, please go and whine some place else, you clearly have no idea how to play the game or how the game works.

Crafter's do not spend time and money leveling their skills and cross-class skills/ gears etc to Give Stuff Away.

The people who bought the 2-star item I made and those who commissioned them are still playing and are very well geared.

Just because YOU CANNOT AFFORD them, does not mean others cannot.

Regardless of the single 2-star item I sold for a high price, I made over 14mil selling items at 2k-50kish.

The people crying about being "gil starved" are the ones who can't be bothered to try and make gil, you can easily farm Fleece etc and make a lot of Gil in not much time.

Seems to be a lot of jealous, spiteful people on these forums.

P.S. SE belived they left me with 126k, but as they did not look at my retainers/alt, I have 4.5mil, if this bothers you please demand a GM investigate my account! As we've been asking all along! :P

Look guys, IT is easy to earn gils, even more so now.

Step 1: See the most expensive item you can farm or gather
Step 2: See the name of the buyer <- You can try your LS or FC crafters
Step 3: Ask if what he needed, tell them if possible what you can get
Step 4: Price. <-you can undercut all you want depending on IQ (Seriously if an item sells for 70K at the market board, you willing to sell for 50K?)
Step 5: SE suspend both you and the buyer for suspected RMT Profits

With simple calculations having over 10M gil in a new server already says "where did this gil come from?", if player has even bothered to look for the sources of gil anywhere but the market.
The information was there, so this is matter of "they should of known".

I am replying to this thread not because of the fact that it is entirely irresponsible for a company such as SE to punish innocent players with account suspensions and gold removal (if SE can back up that every suspended player DIRECTLY AND INTENTIONALLY interacted with RMT by buying/selling gold than yes they do deserve it). The fact of the matter is SE made a terrible PR blunder with this and they are going to alienate A VAST MAJORITY OF THEIR PLAYER BASE BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE NOW WILL NOT PLAY THE GAME TO CRAFT FOR FEAR OF THEIR MONEY/ACCOUNT BEING BANNED FOR SOMETHING THAT IS ENTIRELY BEYOND THEIR CONTROL.

What I find worse however is the attitude of the community, I can't be bothered to go back, and quote people, because honestly the list of idiots from this and other threads is entirely too long to keep track of so instead I will settle for addressing some blunt points:

Lets look at something, say...HQ rose gold crafts several of them require 18 Peacock ore, which as of last week on Leviathan was 40k/piece meaning you would be spending over 720k nearly a month into the expansion just to purchase the ore. Just because you are so poor that any sum over 200k is a vast and unobtainable amount doesn't mean that many crafters didn't invest millions, or tens of millions into the heavy darksteel, vanya, rose gold, or gryphonskin items which they were selling.

2) "You deserve it for pricing items beyond the means of others"

If the item is priced out of the means of legitimate players then odds are it wouldn't sell very frequently, the fact of the matter is people bought an Alchemist's chest for 70k because they could afford to, they leveled alchemy and were making money crafting prerelic weapons I personally have spent upwards of 500k on crafting gear, materia, etc all of which I earned from my goldsmithing, weaving, and carpentry.

Wrong, WRONG, WRONG, from day 1 there were dozens, if not hundreds of legitimate moneymaking methods players could use, the fact of the matter is the only people who are starved for gil are the ones who are too stupid to look up the price of basic mats like fleece on the AH, or the ones who know what's profitable but are simply too lazy to actually farm them. In essence everyone in this came who is poor is poor by choice there's no divine mandate that you must be poor you have no one to blame but yourselves stop lashing out at crafters.

4) "SE did the right thing, it sucks but something had to be done."

SE's approach was wrong, period. Lets apply this to something far more people can understand, a very small # of players have abused glitches/etc to get gear, (or straight up afked in CM to farm their darklight) SE's solution? Remove ALL darklight from players, everyone who has at least 1 piece of darklight gets a 3 day suspension, their darklight removed and are compensated 300 allagan tomes of philosophy. Ask yourself this, would you continue playing the game after all of your work is destroyed like that when you did nothing wrong?

I personally feel like much of the community is behaving absolutely deplorably here, far worse in fact than I've seen in other MMOs, instead of reacting with sympathy towards other players who are victims in all this, people are being petty and mean-spirited seeking to attack crafters for the sole crime of being rich. To all of the legitimate crafters who were hurt by this, I'm sorry SE shouldn't have handled things so poorly and we can only hope they will return all of your money sometime within the next few weeks.

Actually there are threads specifically about how there are no real legitimate moneymaking methods other than quests and to an extent levequests. By this I mean no reasonable ways to bring new gil into the game. Farming mats does not generate gil, only transfers it from other players. Those high selling mats come from limited mobs that are often bot farmed. I have no doubt there are legit millionaires but there was simply too much gil in the servers for all of it to be legit. A character gets somewhere under 400k gil from completing all quests. Yet there are people who say they earned 60 million gil from crafting. Thats all the new gil that 120 players would generate into the server. Thats also a couple million out of the server through market place fees alone. A crafter making that much is basically helping destroy the emerging economy of the game (becoming the 1% that holds all the money essentially ).

The math with how much gil was floating around the server especially considering the amount RMTs were offering for low prices early on shows that some sort of exploit existed that created an abundance of gil that should not have existed. The economy was inflating and basically just completely getting messed up. I'm not sure if I agree with how SE handled things, but I do think something had to be done immediately and needs to continue to be done.

Let me explain what is happening here.

1. Player buys gil and gets banned for it.
2. Player gets mad and posts about said ban on the forums.
3. Square Enix does not have the time or manpower to enter the thread and prove he is guilty.
4. Player says "Square Enix won't bother proving I did anything."
5. People whom are gullible believe Square Enix is evil.

These people got banned because they broke the rules. Honest people have nothing to worry about and should continue playing the game.

It's sad that SE cant get rid of these obvious threads because if they did, people would assume they contained the truth.

We were not banned, we were suspended.

We did return to the game and SE believe they took 99% of our gil with their automated program.

Some still have millions, if it was on their retainer or an alt. (I still have 4.5mil)

SE are under staffed and it shows, good luck if you ever need to contact Customer Support..

Players are asking for their accounts to be investigated by a Human GM, how does this show we are lying?

I played fair and that is why I am annoyed.

If you think I'm lying, please send in a Ticket asking for my account to be investigated, as if I am lying, not only am I still playing, I still have 4.5mil.

So either way, SE have messed up.
