I switch Cleric Stance on and off close to 100 times in some runs.
I've yet to ever have time to even buff myself up, let alone be able to throw off a couple Stone II's and whatnot. How do people do this?

I just had a DPS tell me to leave the party the other day because I wasn't healing good enough and the tank tell me my armor wasn't doing me any favors because my Cure wasn't giving him enough. :/ Except the tank wasn't pulling aggro off me and I ended up being too busy running away and trying to get breathing space to even fire off a Cure I/II, but nope, it's always the healer's fault, isn't it?

Your armor should be good enough, according to lodestone. Have you been putting all of your attribute points in mind?
Anyway, I can't shift between cleric stance and off until I learn the fight, and know when I need to save my mp or know when I can fight. :P Depends on your party to, if they are undergeared and not very good, then you'll be healing more than fighting, certainly.
Really, just learn the fights, and try to group with people you know for dungeons and things will run smoothly.

I don't use Stone but I do find myself using Water to get a rid of enemies for the reasons you explained later. ^_^

Yeah. I'll see about it then. Does it interface well with FF XIV? Only to get in writing mode I spend 3 seconds messing up with buttons.

A good tank will mark the targets and you can sleep the ones that aren't being attacked. Will make your life a lot easier trying to keep up with heals.

After level 30 waiting times will be a lot longer, even for healers.

You shouldn't be running anywhere except straight to the tank. If they're doing their job you should lose your aggro rather quickly. Tanks after 35 start really requiring a lot of effort to keep topped off. To that effect there's really no reason to keep them topped off, just keep them alive and above 75%. Regen is the bread and butter now, not Cure. You let the tank build their aggro and keep Regen up on them. If a DPS takes damage Regen them so you can focus cures on the Tank when needed. Between Regen and Cure I you can keep anyone alive. I farmed Brayflox for battlemage gear but it's really not that much better than what you'll get from quests so your gear is fine.

Well, thanks, but I don't have the space for a keyboard. It is taken by my laptop. As I wrote I would be interested on that keyboard attachable to the DS3 controller. I'd like to know how it works with FF XIV before buying it, though.

I suggested the arc because it really is tiny. About half the size of a regular keyboard. She puts it in her lap and used it to talk. If your laptop is in your lap the arc can be tossed onto the ground when you need the laptop. Seems like your thighs would get pretty warm having a laptop resting on it for extended periods of time though.

Oh. I didn't notice it was small. I did some window shopping now, I see there are plenty of micro bluetooth keyboards even at some ridiculous prices (less than 10€). Still in Amazon Italy the DS3 one is only 21€. You know what, I am going to open a thread and ask for some feedbacks… Here we are off topic anyway,

It was in Cutter's Cry and, at the time, I didn't have the Linen Cowl yet. I was going between Battlemage Robe and a Vest for gathering because of the defense perks. But at the time, I didn't see a problem with it because, in the end, it wasn't my defense getting killed, it was all the aggro that I was getting and the tank not pulling them off of me :/

@AlyssaImagine: I honestly never knew I could fight in a dungeon since I was told my only role is a healer ^^; This is my first MMO.

@Energy2K8: This was in Cutter's Cry and the Myrimadon Princess and the adds were resisting Sleep. But I'll try that strategy for other dungeons!

@16bitBounty: Unfortunately, it was either stand there and take hits or attempt to run way while the tank and the DPSs try and get aggro off of me. My Cure's were getting interrupted if I stood there or if I ran away, it was very much a damned if you do and damned if you don't and they weren't willing to admit that the fault wasn't just in my ability to heal appropriately but also in their ability to get aggro off of me. I ended up getting a new party and the tank was much better and pulling aggro off of me, so I know, for sure, it wasn't me.
