^ It's things like that which really put the kibosh on anyone claiming the devs know what they're doing when it comes to balance.

It's more likely a bug since Garuda hits for more then Ifrit despite Ifrit having more potency.

(also Ifrit does NOT scale up with your STR, he scales up with your INT just like garuda. Can't comment about whether he uses the magical or auto attack damage of your book though, except that he does scale up with something on your weapon, just not sure what it is.)

Yes, it definitely scales off of INT.

I don't know what the issue is, but Ifrit would still have to be leaps and bounds better than Garuda pure DPS-wise because of Contagion. Both AoE, and single target. The 20 potency in attacks won't make up the difference, but maybe if he scaled as he should the auto attacks would.

That would only be ST, though, anyways.


Even if Ifrit gets fixed, we can't properly test total DPS until DoTs are logged properly.
