    Try using another controller.
    Sounds like you are having hardware issues.
    Also turn the system off and plug your controller in then turn it on.

    Never got a second one. Was hoping not to have to. I tried plugging it in and turning it on, but immediately it starts freaking out and only the reset button in the back can turn it off.
