Crafting and spiritbond

1) You only get spiritbond for completion.
2) You get the same amount of spiritbond for quick-synthing as you do from crafting normally (except, of course, that quick synth will fail a little).
3) The amount of spiritbond you get is based off of the difference between the item level of whatever you're spiritbonding, and the synth level (note that 1-star and 2-star synths are considered to be above lv50 synths, I think). If your synth is more than 10 levels below the iLvl of a piece of equipment, then that piece will gain no spiritbond at all. Also, I'm told that synths above the level of the equipment do not give any more spiritbond than synths equal to the level of the equipment.
4) The amount of spiritbond a piece of equipment gets is increased substantially if the equipment is HQ.
5) The amount of spiritbond a piece of equipment gets is increased substantially if the equipment is melded onto (moreso if it has multiple melds, I'm told). I do not know if the grade of materia affects the rate increase, but I know the type doesn't, so feel free to waste those useless elemental materia.
6) Spiritbond+ gear doesn't seem to add much to spiritbonding (estimates place each +1 spiritbond to a +1% increase), so you're better off spiritbonding other pieces of gear instead of wearing non-convertible spiritbond equipment.
7) Aetheryte Rings don't grant crafting materia (so far all I've seen them give is base-stat materia and elemental materia).
8) iLvl55 items can grant tier-4 materia, but most of the time you'll get tier-3s.

Bonus: 300 quick synths of a lv50 recipe gets you approximately 75% spiritbond for a non-melded piece of HQ iLvl55 gear. The shard cost is very exorbitant to spiritbond iLvl55 gear.
