This is a bad analogy because in the case of this game, these people have already paid to be seated at the diner.

... that and no diner has a 2 hour wait, thats ridiculous. Not to mention how this is the ONLY "restaurant" out there that has any wait what-so-ever. There is really no excuse for this. Besides ... this case its more like having your entire party sitting, ready and waiting for their food, yet it takes over 2 hours because they refuse to hire enough chefs to cook for everyone in a timely manner.

Uh, no. Those people didn't pre-pay to get a reserved seat just for them at a specific table, in a specific chair, with individually-monogrammed tablecloths and napkins. This would be a more appropriate analogy for a specific dungeon.

In this case, the players pre-pay to be able to play the game, and that includes millions of different things to do in it. Just because one part of it is crowded, there's still plenty more to do.

The real problem is that the Myth tombs are farm able in AK. While very convenient I don't think they should be rewarded there at all. AK's content is roughly lvl 60. There is no reason ilvl 90 anything should be a possible reward from AK imo.

It's what I always think of when I see people say, "I pay to play this game! I should be able to do x,y,z RIGHT NOW!"

Well, everyone "pays" when they buy a Monopoly game set, but that doesn't mean you get to have all the play money and win

I remember about 2 weeks into the game (since release) I was level 50 and I had to wait about 6 minutes for a party... then slowly 15 minutes.. then 30 minutes.. and now about 60-80 minutes on the best of days.

As the amount of people increase that reach endgame, the longer it will take for AK to become available. This is obviously a problem. The amount of people reaching end game will keep on rising...

Analogy time: It's like having a soup kitchen that feeds the homeless. You buy about $300 worth of soup and can feed about 300 people. But as more people start coming to the soup kitchen you can't expect to feed 500 people with the same amount of soup bought at $300 worth. What happens if 1000 people start coming? And don't you dare tell me homelessness is not on the rise in the US D:<

They really dropped the ball on this one. Mythology tomes should have dropped from the palace as well since these are both optional dungeons towards the end of the game. I've heard the Coil drops them, but pfft... A lot of good that does. Hell, by the time we can even get into a party for that, we won't even need the tomes from that place and it sure as hell isn't a good place to farm for them.

One of two things should have happened:

A. AK shouldn't have been the only dungeon for ToM.
B. They should have increased the weekly cap to 500. 300 is trash and can't even get you the cheapest item.

Sorry but no id rather work my butt off for weeks and enjoy the content of other classes and jobs while waiting for cap resets. Id rather not be rushed to get all the gear the game currently offers within a month and then say "Im boooooooored" :x
