    considering onion knight and dancer were able to use purses as a weapon im kind of glad the FF series isnt very consistant, its only so at its core.

    This is a false statement. As chocobo's, Cid, Airships, and the classic FF Jobs we are about to get, have all be consistent in some way in all FF. So, we can use them as example. You don't think the battle director for FFXI is not crossing some ideas over from FFXI, are building upon them for FFXIV. Auto-attack. you going to email the battle director and tell him this is FFXIV I don't want to see delay numbers on weapons. Because that is what we are getting.
