I'm really hoping they're a playable race someday, they're just so cute ( ; n ; )
I think they would fit in just fine, Seedsear is just a position, i don't think all Padjal should have to become one, and i don't think they do, (smallish spoiler?)i remember seeing a screenshot from a cutscene where a group of children were kidnapped, and about 2 or 3 of them were padjal, but they were dressed super casual, like the other normal kids, shirts, pants, bandanas on their heads~ not in the fancy/mage looking seedsear clothing the other more important ones wear.. and SE did say they may add more races with future expansions so, let's keep our fingers crossed!~ ( > u <

I also can't wait to see Roe female ( And Male Miqote), i remember seeing an NPC say there's a Roegadyn Maiden whose beauty alone made her one of Uldahs wealthiest, so i'm guessing they're going to be really pretty ingame, the grand company one looks really nice too <3

Aren't all Padjal the collective leaders of Gridania? I don't see SE letting players play a character type like that.

I hope the leader of Limsa is a Roegadyn, but I would very much like for someone to link the definitive proof that this is the case. This community tends to speculate a lot and that speculation quickly becomes "fact." Anyone have a web link?

I think the Padjal are too uncommon and high of station to become a playable race. That would be like SE letting us play Moogles.

Btw, I'm completely enchanted by Kan-E. She looks like a youthful Pagan Goddess.

Well, we do play moogles in some FFs ^^ I would live seeing the bunny-like moogles from Ivalice Alliance games being an playable race here! ^^ They could just call them likw "Western Moogles" or something else to specify why tey look different from the current white furball ones. However, moogles in FFXIV are supposed to be a beast tribe (friendly one) so i'd assume at least the white ones wouldn't be ever playable...but the beige bunnies do can ^^

Also, i'm REALLY hoping these horned boys turn into grias (dragonboys) and become playable. Would be awesome having grias in this FF! ^^

claiming one persone being pretty is to each person's taste to be honest. Besides the Goldsmithers can make anything look pretty. First R20 guild quedst you get for them is to make a brosch that represents a "miner" while almost not a single person you talk to during the quest would agree to this idea of putting something like a though of a minning into a piece of jewelery.

would female Roygedans be pretty, that is yet ot be seen i would say. however, the though of male mi'qote would be interesting. I still most likely will be playing female even if i had a choice between two sexes. >.> its jsut someting about staring at the girl char vs boy while you are yourself is a guy ...

well yes you playing moogles in other FF games but you since its a single player the amount of moogles is controlled. If moogles was suddenly a player character there would be too many for a rare mystical race

/shrugs the padjal always struck me as being written up both in look and in history to be summoners what with the horns and the stuff about being touched by the elementals.

i think Pad'jas are not a "Race" they could be lalas, hyurs, miqote, or roes. the difference been they have been chosen by the woods and given horns.? i could be wrong but it makes kinda sense. pad'jas are more like the chosen ones to protect the woods

I think the Pad'jal race play a similar role to that of the Zilart from FFXI, they are both skilled in magic, rare, and high in station when seen. Making them a playable race would be like letting a race with it's population in the double digits become playable.

Some of us want it to some degree, but it will never happen.
