I knew it worked this way prior, it even SAYS it works that way. But you know, I tested it prior to posting my original reply. I doesn't affect your skills at all. All it does is give you two damage numbers with your auto attack. The second being weaker than the first. 20% Damage Reduction and 20% Enmity Gain is far superior to that unless you're solo.

Actually the tooltip says "Increases the potency of auto-attacks by 50." That is all Sword Oath does.

I know what it says, and I'm basically telling him the same thing. It boosts your auto attack damage, and not by much. When you use it, it actually gives you two damage numbers per hit instead of 1. The second being smaller than the first. And the first being the same as without Sword Oath.
