DD Fate in North Thanalan

People harassing others for finishing the fate IS childish & rude but finishing the fate when 50 people ask you not to, you going "no I want to do what I want" is JUST as childish & and slightly selfish.
The best route is to ask if anyone minds you killing them if they do DON'T do it, if they don't then do as you please, they're wrong for insulting you but imo your being the main instigator when your literally asked by (what looks to be in that area alone at peak times) 50+ people not to.

Wouldn't go out of my way to, but in my experience it ain't just 'one guy'. I actually haven't been in the fate myself, but I've been in the area and seen the shouts, its sickening, idc how much xp gets 'ruined'. Could be a kid playing around on their parent's char, or w/e, and people react like that? To someone playing the game how its supposed to? Smh.

When it comes to DD its really a situational deal. Someone killing the lambs naively, because they were in a hurry, or even that occasional one who did it to playfully troll sure getting hostile with is completely uncalled for.

However there are a small minority who will do it over and over soley to anger everyone else, at which point they're griefers and deserve to be treated as such. We had one person on my server, a lvl 50 summoner who for almost 10 hours straight just camped the fate, killed the lambs every time they spawned, than just sat back down waiting to grief it again. They did not even take part in the other segments of the fate or leave to do other stuff in between. They were there just to make everyone else angry without any restraint to good taste. That's griefing any way you slice it.

FYI: I did not fate grind for 10 hours straight (ugh, my brains...), I just did it on and off and he was always there, confirmed having never left by fellow players.

What i do is simple. I do fatesin the zones i am questing or farming in. I generally do not read shout or look atwhat otber people are doing infates. So yeah i do swoop inand complete fates.

While people who start shout flaming over it should be blacklisted, the people who do it just to spite others should also be blacklisted.

The fact that you're in this thread proves your knowledge of the legit way people use DD. Anytime from here on out that you end DD early should be considered spiteful, and scummy.

what's the big deal anyway, it only gives you some more exp
i wonder what's the maximum exp we can gain from farming DD mobs?
even if you finish it earlier, you might come to other fates later and will able to finish it

I dont get why people want to end it early. You're able to walk away mid fate and do another one, and still get your reward for the first one you were in when it's over. I don't agree with people freaking out and abusing others at the drop of a hat, if I see people killing lambs I just say in shout 'please dont kill the lambs first, we all get more exp if we farm the others first', and every time, whoever's killing lambs stops and joins the rest. Some people just dont know, admittadly first time I did it I went to kill lambs wondering why nobody else was touching them, thankfully someone in my party explained it to me before shout abuse started.

But people who do it just to make the others farming angry? Now that's just low
