I need someone who uses Voice chat to help me

I'm getting a microphone/headset soon but I am not completely sure which one I should get. A link to USA Amazon is appreciated. I would also appreciate that NONE OF THESE ARE USB.

I am curious if I need to press some sort of button to activate it/deactivate it in order to speak or do I talk without pressing anything? I ask this because it might get noisy where I live or I have a side conversation with a relative.

Thanks, I really need to know since I need to do TS or mumble or whatever voice chat my FC uses so I can do Coil better, when I do Coil that is.
For example, I screwed up something and when typing, the team would be wiped or I will get hit by an AOE because they need to read and I need to type. Whereas speaking the people will here me and no one needs to type or read

Depending on the voice comm program used, you can set it up to a hotkey that you have to press and hold while talking, or you can set it to transmit whenever you talk as it will detect "louder than background noise" but that can also have problems for people that are naturally heavy breathers etc. Some of the more expensive wireless ones come with a button on the headset you can press that acts as a "push to talk" key as well. As for brands to use i have no idea of good/bad quality ones but hope the info i've given so far is of some use.

Seconding this recommendation. I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend and he swears by it. Very good sound and voice quality.

Edit: Ack. It's USB, though. Missed that the first time through.
