I'm seeing a LOT of people in this thread switching to lalafells. I did that too, actually. Don't have a screenshot handy on this computer, but I'm glad I switched! The smaller character model isn't a big deal, and everything about her is way more cute/funny than my old female Highlander.

We need more elezen! But I must admit, lalafell on their tiny chocobos are awesome.

Until I can find these artists again, or find another amazing artist to make me another sig. I'ma haveta keep this one for now hahaha, but yes I need to show my Elezen off now XD

I had to add whiskers. It allows me to infiltrate kitty LS now. I just say my height is a birth defect and pointing it out only makes them seem insensitive to the plight of the vertically challenged. Thus, I am the shortest miquote male.

All of 1.0 I was a Hyur. I loved the guy. Hyurs are simple and the body models are pretty normal and have no weird stuff, plus the male emotes are good enough and not over the top.

When ARR launched, I instantly changed to male Mi'qote. It was the cool thing to do and I had no other option - I wanted something non-human and this was as close as human as possible (yeah, great logic). I actually liked how the char turned out but something felt odd. Every now and then I would en up in an all-male-Mi'qote party on DF. They were everywhere!! Plus, I noticed that developers invested quite a lot of time into making them as "cool" as possible - from the standing pose (only race with a weird one), /sit (/squat), sexy /pose, etc. Now, don't get me wrong - I like cool but ugh it felt a little superficial.

So, I changed to Elezen. They're weird, tall and have a creepy neck but I don't care it's better than the normal-Hyur and considering the other two options (Lalafell with weird camera angles or Roegadyn with 'slow' movements) it doesn't look that bad. Only been using him for two days and I can say that I'm satisfied.

BUT I'll look into Roegadyn a little bit more (will get a second phial once I pay).

Edit: Great seeing how some of you left the cat-train. We need a little more variety in Eorzea.

I did not leave the cat-train, and never will. I relate to Keeper lore too much. If it wasn't for that I would have been Hyur, though. I'd post some pictures, but she looks more or less the same. She just looks more mature, now.

Most of my characters only had minor characters only had minor changes.
My Miqo'te was given a tan and my Lalafell was made shorter and paler.
My Roegadyn however had a complete face lift. I did like her before, but felt she looked a bit too harsh. Also bigger cleavage.
