Player B makes a profit and receives gil from a player whose gil was obtained from cheating
Player B is banned for 5-10 days of a paid amount of time, and when returned to the game, has went from 1 million gil to 100k
So SE confirmed that this is what happened, or is this just a theory/guess?

The problem I have with this theory is that the person who went from 1mil to 100k probably made more than 100k just from doing quests. So where did all that other gil go?? Obviously no one has the full picture of what is happening.

It actually is happening but, the only thing SE has actually "publicized" is the fact that they banned RMTers. They have no mention of those stuck in the crossfire.

As I said before, one of my best gaming buddies was the first 50 miner on cactaur. Made over 3m JUST SELLING MATS. As of right now, he has @200k left and an email from SE basically telling him that he's guilty. (Horrifically written too btw)

When he spoke to a GM (Took over 24 hours) the GM told him that nothing could be done and to talk to Phone Support. When he called Phone Support (A 4 hour call with an EXCEEDINGLY LONG WAIT TIME) they told him to talk to GM's.

The bottom line is that they're blindingly banning anyone associated with the Gil and they don't have the CS resources to deal with those that were banned just for selling mats and legitimately receiving the gil.
