I have 4 RL friends I play with , all not on the same level of play as me. Not on as often as me. They look to me for advice and help when playing (when they're even online).

I don't feel I should be forced to leave them is all.

Why would you be forced to leave them? Any decent FC will be fine with having some players who are still leveling up. If they aren't then just keep looking...

You are not.

Get on the Internet, Forums, Google... find other small FCs and communicate with them... a lot of smaller FCs dont have enough people for bigger content so a lot of them are looking for other people to play with. You dont have to leave your FC and join another... there are other means of communication (Forums, TS, Linkshells...).... you only have to do something to search for others... you wont get everything handed on a silver platter.

To be fair, the relic quest line is end game and meant to be hard.. I don't quite see why you're stressing now while your friends are not even at that point.
I think you just need to chill and join a social/casual end game LS where i'm sure people will be glad to help you with content.

I feel , That at the point the OP is talking about it is the relic quest and those type of quests should be a server teamwork and find friends or like minded people to help. It is a mmo so by the time you have gotten there you should have ran into some cool people. That you get along with. Also you can have 8 linkshells equip and a FC . So I would not see that being a problem. Unless anti social. Then maybe a mmo not the cup of tea looking for.

At least on Shiva, there is a linkshell that helps people getting their relic, they ask people for Chimera and Hydra a lot. There is usually someone on Mor Dhona who is a member of it.

They won't carry you, though, you need to be useful.

Mandatory group content in an MMO: OMG you mean I have to talk to people? Just because I play an MMO doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to solo everything and get all gear!
Lots of solo content in an MMO: OMG, too much solo'ing, community will suck because no interaction between players is required!
