Why am I being told how much I can accomplish in P2P MMO?

You're not - You can do absolutely everything else on your own pace. This along with coil barely makes up .1% of content in the game. Also, there were limits in XI and people played it for numerous years, some even all 11 years and it's a P2P MMO. Same with WoW.
