Crafters should be able to particpate in the main story... as a leecher with a full party of friends doing all the work for them.
LOL now this I don't agree with. I agree that Crafters should have as much of a role as possible in the game and don't let them just be some side thing... but now you just talking crazy.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
Well it's better than the other two options. 1) exluding crafters from content or 2)making content that panders to helpless crafters.
SE should just make challenging story-scenario content for DoW classes, but they should also make it possible so that crafters can participate too if the crafter has a high level DoW friend to do all the work for him.
I dont see how that's game breaking
PARTICIPATE, yes... Leech and let everyone do the work for you, no. Those are two totally different things.Well it's better than the other two options. 1) exluding crafters from content or 2)making content that panders to helpless crafters.

Go ahead and inform us of why you think that way. Please give us three good reasons and strong supporting facts to think why we should think that crafters are leechers.
First of all, make sense!
Second of all, I wasn't saying crafters are leechers, I was merely suggesting a way to make a compelling Main Scenario questline without excluding crafters.
As long as crafters are not combatants, main scenario quests will never have combat as a focal point. I feel like this limits the story-telling devices. Well, at the very least, it places one limitation on the story-telling.
Therefore, why not focus exclusively on making the scenario quests for DoW and DoM, and then if a DoH or DoL needs to do a story quest, they can simply petition their DoW or DoM friends to help them (i.e. they can leech).
I see that you fail in your response here in your response to my post, so what makes you think that your rant is going to change the minds of the Devs? Stop crying to me and be suggestive to the Devs. Cry all you want to me, I have a deaf ear to you.First of all, make sense!

I think he's being dead serious and I agree with him.
MMOs are about a lot of things, but usually the focus is the battles, and by letting non-combat classes participate they had to dumb it down to allow them to progress. Which isn't a very good idea.
battle content is dumbed down to cater for crafters who dont actually play it? Or you mean the main scenario questline, which you can choose to fight or parley if you cant. Dont blame crafting for poor battle content. Blame developers for making it easymode.
