Not sure why, DD and Mage classes play exactly the same in this game.

Less if you're using macros, slightly different if you're using a controller. The only difference is you're not stuck in Melee range, constantly dying. I actually have a rolling Bet with my friends when we join Duty Finder that, without fail, the DRG will either be terrible and will die or be good and will die, but no matter what, at some point during the fight, or at multiple times, they will die.

I have yet to lose this bet. Also, if they don't die, I feel i should yell at them for not playing their job properly as they should be running around in full AF screaming "I'M KAIN GUYZ" and failing to grasp basic combat mechanics and dying all the time like all DRGs do.

I feel sorry for Melee classes having to put up with all the AoE "regular" moves you can't really avoid. I'm spoiled by being a caster :3.

Oh, and this is nothing against you (Having just realized you're a LNC...), Its just a running gag with my Free Company.

if puppetmaster doesn't ever make it into ffxiv, I will be extremely disappointed since automatons already exsist in the world of eorzea, and if they wanted it to be just like in ffxi, it would just have to be another soul gem for pgl, and gain a pet instead of stat boosts (as opposed to mnk) or w/e.
