I dont understand why there is no any answer from CM in this thread? No care about players leaving the game because of very hard dungeons? No need to do something ASAP? No care, realy? No answer... Ok... I see. It is very sad to see such attitude from the Community Manager

Besides Coil.. name me one VERY hard dungeon. If you are looking for an easy game to play. Try Hello Kitty Online. Not easy enough? How about Tic-Tac-Toe? Still too hard?? Then how about.... WoW?

I'm in care about all the game and its future. You want to say, that WoW is a bad game? Almost 10 years WoW is the most popular online game and you dare to say, that FF no need to be like Wow? Who are you to say such things? If FF will get just 10% of WoW popularity and not be closed at least nearest 2-3 years it will be great, so please, dont say stupid things.

Yes. Im still waiting for answer from Community manager in this thread

This game doesn't even need 10% of WoWs popularity to be successful, look at FF11 which has gone on longer than WoW and it hasn't even been close(still p2p). If you're expecting a CM to come in here though then I've got some bad news for you, unless you can learn Japanese they don't care to post in the silly English forums with anything meaningful even though we compose 60%+ of their game.

You also need to understand what will happen if they make the remaining hard instances easier, people will laugh their way through them and then what will they do? They will then officially be done with the story until the next patch, there will be nothing more for them to work on if they want to see the story meaning they'll leave a lot faster than if they actually had to work to see what was left.

Yes. It is very hard to make realy new content for all players- skilled and casual. Much more simple to clone hardcore trials: Ifrit normal, hard, extrime, super extrime, hyper extrime, impossible. Yes. It is much more simple. And developers think, that it is a good way to hold players in the game? No need to create new locations, new dungeons.. very "nice"- just more trial modes. And developers dont care, that players are not able to play the whole content, because they got stucked on some UNBALANCED hard dungeon and leaving the game? Are you talking about that?

The only "unbalanced" thing is the final boss in coil, if you're seriously trying to say titan is unbalanced then you don't look around enough to see the hundreds of people with their relic. Do not keep comparing this games content to WoW or other games that have gone more casual over time. Considering WoW hasn't even come out in Japan they could give zero shits as to what keeps people happy over there, if Square wants more difficult content in their game that actually makes people react or communicate with other people then that is their choice, with how FF11 has been over the last 11 years they have shown they do not need a game to be largely popular for it to be successful.

The problem is, this is a game built on top of a game. Technically the first expansion of the original. They are already in the works of the expansion, which will add all you talk about and more. There are three types of players in game currently, hardcore, who level fast, gear up and beat content fast, and are left wanting, casual, who are decent players who just do not have the time to level as fast, but are still good players, and the last, the horrible player, who cannot follow simple instructions in the supposed "hard" dungeons. How many people have had a horrible time in Sunken Temple, just because people cannot understand the mechanics of the first boss.

Largest player base is Runescape (Started around 2001 if i am not mistaken) with close to 176 million registered user and close to 10 million active players. World of Tanks holds the record of having the MOST players playing in a server with more then 190k player playing at the same time in ONE server. So what's the big deal about WoW again?

Besides Coil, there's NO dungeon in ff14 that's very hard. Player left because of a comedy of errors by the bad management decisions NOT because those players are so much of an imbecile that they need a Godmode cheat to play the game. Like I said, if you find the dungeons too hard, go farm ladybugs in Gridania, I'm sure killing ladybugs are not too hard for you.

WoW hater club member? Many of WoW HM fights are much more involved and difficult than anything in ffxiv, or any mmo really. I don't care to play wow anymore, but facts are facts.
